About the Conference

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the international conference titled "Philosophy and Contemporary Challenges: The Human Being in the Existential Trap."

The conference will be held on November 20–21, 2025, at the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology, Yerevan State University.

The conference will be organized around two main thematic discussion sections.

SECTION 1: Fundamental Issues in Social Philosophy and Ethics

Topics to be discussed:

Social Philosophy, Ethics
Philosophy of Culture
Philosophy of Art and Aesthetics
Philosophy of Politics
Value-based and Ethical Challenges Related to Artificial Intelligence

SECTION 2: Fundamental Issues in the Philosophy of Science, Logic, and Argumentation

Topics to be discussed:

Logic, Argumentation, Rhetoric
Philosophy of Science (Epistemology, Methodology)
Philosophy of Language
Epistemological and Logical Challenges of Artificial Intelligence

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

The conference is open to all those interested in philosophical knowledge and its role and significance in contemporary society.

We would be pleased to host scholars, researchers, and PhD candidates engaging in the discussion of the issues outlined in the thematic panels.

The conference will be held both in-person and online.

The working languages will be Armenian, English, and Russian.

No fee is required for participation in the conference.
