At the initiative of the YSU Faculty of Geography and Geology, the conference titled "Current Issues in Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring in the Context of Climate Change: Adaptation, Sustainability, and Production Processes" will be held, dedicated to the Professional Days of Hydrologists, Foresters and Meteorologists and to Earth Day.  

The purpose of this scientific event is to discuss the advancements and future prospects in the development of fundamental and applied research in the fields of hydrometeorology, environmental monitoring, and ecological security. It aims to identify and address existing issues in the field of hydrometeorology, examine the patterns and prospects of development, evaluate its role in solving the socio-economic problems of the region, and analyze the current environmental situation and climate change challenges.

The conference will also cover topics related to the legal regulation of modern society's development and ecosystem management, as well as the key issues in education in environmental protection and hydrometeorology.
