As part of the "Step Toward Home" educational program, the YSU Byurakan Industrial Practice Base hosted many Diaspora Armenian children, providing them with a rich cognitive, educational and cultural environment.
On June 21, within the framework of an agreement reached between the YSU Charles Aznavour Cultural Center and the Byurakan Industrial Practice Base, and in cooperation with the coordinators of the "Step Toward Home" program of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, YSU Band, led by Artistic Director Arthur Hakobyan, performed a concert program for the Diaspora Armenian guests at the Byurakan Industrial Practice Base.
Speaking at the opening of the event and emphasizing the importance of student participation in such initiatives, Sargis Hovsepyan, Director of the YSU Charles Aznavour Cultural Center, thanked the program organizers and, in particular, Beniamin Petrosyan, Director of Byurakan Industrial Practice Base, for their active cooperation.
YSU Band presented a diverse and colorful concert program, performing popular Armenian and foreign pieces. The musical performances conveyed a joyful mood, warm emotions and unforgettable impressions to the audience, creating a truly festive atmosphere.
At the end of the event, Iskuhi Torosyan, Head of the "Step Toward Home" educational program, delivered remarks of gratitude, highly appreciating the organization of the event and its meaningful program.
In addition to the concert program, the students had the opportunity to become better acquainted with the Byurakan Industrial Practice Base and the picturesque surrounding nature, while also taking part in a reception organized especially for them during the day.
The students returned from the event with vivid impressions and positive emotions. They noted with particular enthusiasm that such initiatives provide an opportunity to take part in interesting cultural programs, gain new experiences, expand communication and enliven university life. The students of the Cultural Center expressed their wish to be involved in similar events more often.
