Official Launch of Armenian-Japanese Program "Center for Spatial Studies and Urban Informatics" at YSU

On September 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., in YSU Academic Council Session Hall, the official launch event of the Armenian-Japanese program "Center for Spatial Studies and Urban Informatics" will take place. The event is organized by the Chair of Cartography and Geomorphology of the Faculty of Geography and Geology.

The event will feature presentations by the program’s international coordinators — Professor Yoshihide Sekimoto and Professor Kotaro Iizuka from the University of Tokyo. Following the opening remarks, undergraduate and postgraduate students from the University of Tokyo will present the results of several research projects focused on the city of Yerevan.
