Meeting with Professor Noriaki Nishiyama

On December 12, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., YSU Faculty of Geography and Geology will host Professor Noriaki Nishiyama from the Center for Applied Tourism Studies at Hokkaido University to deliver a lecture on the topic "Sustainable Preservation of Community-Based Heritage and Tourism Development".
The lecture is organized within the framework of cooperation between the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Yerevan State University, aiming to introduce the Armenian public to the Japanese path of modernization, as well as Japanese culture, history, economy, and politics.
The lecture will be of particular interest to students and researchers studying tourism, architecture, or urban planning.
