Events

From June 23 to 26, 2025, starting at 10:00 a.m., the 20th International Conference of the International Association of Scientometrics and Informetrics will take place at Yerevan State University. The event will be held in multiple venues, including the Balian Hall, the Large Blue Hall of the European Studies Center, the Small Hall of the European Studies Center, Room 503 on the 5th floor of the Library Building, the Ferdowsi Hall, and the ISTC Innovation Center Hall.

From June 23 to 25, 2025, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., a summer school on the challenges of personal data protection will be held in Goris, Syunik Province. The event is organized by YSU Faculty of Law, with the support of the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ).

On June 23, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., in the courtyard of YSU Central Building, the Graduate Commencement Ceremony will be held.

On June 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., in the hall of the Charles Aznavour Cultural Center at Yerevan State University, the "Last Bell" graduation ceremony of YSU STEM High School students will take place. The event will be attended by YSU vice-rectors, chair heads, parents, faculty members, and teachers. 

On June 20, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., the Chair of Iranian Studies at YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies will host a workshop titled "Endangered Languages in Azerbaijan: The Beginning of a New Phase in State Language Policy (Since 2021)." The event is organized within the framework of research grant 24SSAH-6B028, provided by the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.

On June 17 and 18, 2025, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m., YSU Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology will host a meeting with French-Armenian philosopher Marc Nichanian, initiated by the Laboratory for Philosophy and Theory of History.

On June 12-13, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., in YSU Academic Council Session Hall, a two-day international conference titled "State-Sponsored Histories and Historiographic Authority" will be held. The conference is organized by the Laboratory for Philosophy and Theory of History.

On June 12, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., YSU Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology will host a two-day workshop titled "Current Trends and Transformations in HRM," organized by the Chair of General Psychology and the Union of Psychologists of Armenia. The event is designed for students and alumni of the "Management Psychology" master’s program.

On June 13, 2025, at 3:30 p.m., YSU Charles Aznavour Cultural Center will host a matinee dedicated to the Korean language and culture.

On June 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at YSU Balian Hall, a meeting titled "Our Rights, Our Future" will take place with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset.
