Workshop: "Biodiversity of Fungi in Armenia: Advancing Towards COP17"

On April 17–18, 2026, the "Biodiversity of Fungi in Armenia: Advancing Towards COP17" workshop will be held in Aghveran and Dilijan. The event is organized within the framework of the APPEAR Project 373, implemented by the Chair of Botany and Mycology at the Faculty of Biology, Yerevan State University.

The workshop aims to bring together representatives of state bodies, non-governmental organizations, scientific and educational institutions, in order to discuss research on fungal biodiversity, the application of DNA barcoding, and opportunities for cooperation in the fields of nature conservation and sustainable development.

During the event, the objectives of the project, the progress of ongoing activities, and the expected outcomes will be presented. The program will also include a stakeholder workshop, providing an opportunity for discussion and exchange among relevant participants.
