On June 8 of this year, YSU Pedagogy and Education Development Center held a special ceremony to award diplomas to graduates of the "Social Pedagogy" bachelor’s program and the "Education Management" master’s program.
The Director of the center, Professor Nazik Harutyunyan, welcomed the graduates and noted that completing their studies at Yerevan State University is a major achievement, marking both an end and a fresh beginning in their lives.
She also spoke about the current challenges in the education system, especially in the context of inclusive education. As more students with different needs join schools, there is a growing demand for social pedagogues. In addition, schools are facing a shortage of skilled education managers. Professor Harutyunyan expressed confidence that the graduates will use their knowledge and skills to help improve education in schools across Armenia.
Speaking on behalf of the graduates, Nazeli Khzroyan from the "Social Pedagogy" bachelor’s program and Anush Khachatryan from the "Education Management" master’s program thanked the academic staff for their hard work in organizing the programs, their support, and for sharing both professional knowledge and practical skills.
Representing the faculty, Associate Professor Lusine Hayrapetyan congratulated the graduates and emphasized that real change in the world comes not only from knowledge but also from strong values. She encouraged the graduates to use what they have learned to positively impact others and to keep growing both professionally and personally.
At the end of the celebration, the diplomas were ceremoniously awarded to the graduates.
