On June 23, certificates were awarded to graduates of the three-month training course for pedagogue certification, comprising 30 credits.
The academic staff of the YSU Pedagogy and Education Development Center marked the completion of the fourth cohort of graduates who took part in the three-month pedagogue certification training courses with modules equivalent to 30 credits.
Nazik Harutyunyan, Director of the Center, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Professor, addressed the participants with welcoming remarks. She emphasized the mission of the teacher, noting that educating a generation and shaping a value system is an exceptional responsibility. According to her, in order to achieve higher results, it is always necessary to choose the path of self-improvement and continuing education.
The director warmly congratulated all graduates, expressing hope that the rich knowledge and skills they had acquired would become the foundation of their success.
The graduates were then welcomed by Lilit Sargsyan, English language methodologist and lecturer at the Pedagogy and Education Development Center, who wished them professional success and new achievements.
Mariam Petrosyan, invited lecturer, cultural studies specialist, expert at the National Center for Education Development and Innovation Foundation of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia, and staff member of the Department of State General Education Standards and Curricula, also delivered remarks. She emphasized that the training is a significant contribution to the development of every person who has chosen the mission of teaching. The speaker highlighted the work of the center, stressing the combination of the theoretical foundation of the courses with their practical applicability.
On behalf of the graduates, graduate Nakhshun Afanesyan expressed gratitude to the academic staff. She offered special thanks to the entire teaching staff of the center for their caring and professional approach, as well as for the support provided throughout the course.
At the end of the ceremony, Director N. Harutyunyan and Associate Professor A. Ashikyan, coordinator of the training program, awarded certificates to the graduates, wishing them great professional success and fruitful and effective work in the field of education.
