General and Professional Requirements for Academic Staff
The academic staff delivering the Information Systems Management programme comprise highly experienced and recognized specialists in the field of information technologies. Alongside their teaching responsibilities, they actively conduct research, the results of which are published in high-impact journals in informatics and information technologies and in the proceedings of international scientific conferences. They serve on the scientific committees of numerous prestigious international conferences and participate in both national and international grant-funded research projects.
1. General Competencies
Teaching (Pedagogical)
Ability to develop course syllabi.
Ability to use class time effectively.
Knowledge of interactive teaching methods and the ability to apply active learning techniques.
Ability to organize individual work with students.
Research
Ability to use scientific literature relevant to the courses taught.
Research experience in the field of information technologies (publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings).
Ability to supervise research projects.
Communication
Ability to organize professional analyses, debates, discussions, and presentations.
Ability to present teaching materials and research findings effectively.
Proficiency in a foreign language (at least English at the B1 level).
ICT Competencies
Ability to use electronic educational resources, including:
Development of electronic teaching materials (presentations, assignments, etc.);
Organization of examinations, discussions, and debates within a learning management system.
Other Competencies
Knowledge of professional ethics and legal regulations.
Awareness of current developments in the field.
Ability to plan and manage time effectively.
2. Professional Competencies
Knowledge of the principles of information systems analysis and design.
Ability to use information systems effectively.
Knowledge of contemporary approaches to data analysis and management.
Knowledge of modern data science paradigms.
Knowledge of telecommunications and web technologies.
Knowledge of the principles of financial flow management in information systems.
Knowledge of the legal and ethical standards governing the development and use of information systems.
3. General Requirements
Academic Qualifications
An academic degree in information technologies.
At least three scientific and/or methodological publications within the last five years, as well as participation in scientific conferences or workshops.
Teaching Experience
At least five years of experience teaching specialized courses.
Participation in national or international professional development or training programmes within the last five years.
Professional Experience
At least five years of professional experience in information technologies.
Other Requirements
A teaching portfolio with 100% online availability of teaching materials for the courses delivered.
An average student evaluation score of at least 4.0 (for current academic staff).
