Lecturers from the YSU Chair of English Philology at the Faculty of European Languages and Communication of Yerevan State University continue to actively expand international academic cooperation.
Professor Seda Gasparyan, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia and Doctor of Philological Sciences; Professor Anna Knyazyan, Doctor of Philological Sciences and Head of the Chair of English Philology; and lecturer Emma Sargsyan delivered a series of lectures at Pyatigorsk State University.
The visit was also attended by YSU students Lucy Khachatryan, a first-year master's student in the "Applied Linguistics" program, and Astghik Gasparyan, a third-year bachelor's student in the "English, French and Communication" program, who also attended the courses conducted at the university.
As part of the visit, Seda Gasparyan, Anna Knyazyan and Emma Sargsyan also took part in discussions aimed at strengthening academic cooperation. They presented the educational programs offered by the Chair of English Philology at the Faculty of European Languages and Communication, as well as outlining the scope and prospects of international collaboration.
The delegation also met with the Rector of Pyatigorsk State University, Professor A. P. Gorbunov, and the Head of the Department of International Ties and Educational Programs, Professor V. E. Mishin. The discussions focused on issues related to academic and scientific cooperation, as well as opportunities for implementing future joint initiatives.
The visit to Pyatigorsk State University was significant in terms of promoting research activities, exploring modern methodologies in education, and fostering the introduction of innovative international educational practices. Such initiatives contribute to strengthening international ties, facilitating the exchange of academic experience, and advancing the application of contemporary teaching methods.
