An international training course dedicated to the development of community action plans has officially commenced at Caucasus University in Georgia as part of the Erasmus+ project "Promoting Values Education in South Caucasus Higher Education Institutions" (PROVE).
Among the five students representing Yerevan State University are Arina Melkonyan and Syuzanna Avagyan, second-year students in the "Cross-Cultural Communication (English Language)" bachelor's program at the Faculty of European Languages and Communication.
Students and partners from Georgia and Armenia, representing Ilia State University, Telavi State University, Yerevan State University, and the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovian, have come together to explore how values-based education can contribute to positive social change.
Through expert-led sessions and collaborative activities, participants are developing community action plans for a meaningful impact in their communities. Alongside the academic program, participants also have the opportunity to explore Georgia's cultural heritage, hospitality, and traditions.
The training course includes presentations, group work, and concluding discussions, highlighting the importance of regional cooperation and active civic engagement.
