The Faculty of Geography and Geology at Yerevan State University recently hosted Vasiliki Fragkoulidou, a lecturer from the Department of Cadastre, Photogrammetry, and Cartography at the Faculty of Agricultural and Geodetic Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH).
Within the framework of the Erasmus+ staff mobility program, lecturer Fragkoulidou shared her university's expertise in photogrammetry and remote sensing at Yerevan State University.
In addition to the activities planned under the mobility program, Fragkoulidou delivered a lecture for YSU students titled "Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Data: Expertise of the Department of Cadastre, Photogrammetry, and Cartography at Aristotle University".
The lecture was attended by students enrolled in the "Cartography and Cadastral Work" educational program attended the lecture, providing them with the opportunity to learn about contemporary applications of photogrammetry and remote sensing, as well as Aristotle University's educational and research practices.
Events of this kind, organized within the Erasmus+ program, testify to the successful experience of inter-university cooperation and the exchange of students and staff members.
