The Faculty of Geography and Geology at Yerevan State University hosted experienced geological exploration specialist and guest lecturer Robert Speroun, who delivered a lecture on professional practices.
Held as part of the ongoing collaboration between the faculty and Lydian Armenia, the lecture explored professional responsibilities of geologists, the skills required in the field, and emerging trends in modern geological exploration. Speroun also shared his own professional experience, highlighting the challenges of fieldwork and the practical application of knowledge in industrial settings.
The lecture also featured a case study of work conducted at the Amulsar Mine and was followed by active discussions and a Q&A session.
The event was attended by faculty members, students, and members of Lydian Armenia's geological exploration team.
