The effective cooperation between the YSU Faculty of Geography and Geology and the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia continues.
Since 2021, 128 YSU students have completed practical training at the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body, gaining hands-on experience, familiarizing themselves with sectoral management and oversight processes, and deepening their professional knowledge and skills. The practical training has allowed students to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting and acquire valuable professional experience.
At the same time, eight employees of the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body have undergone professional training at Yerevan State University. It helped them expand their professional capacities, update their sector-specific knowledge, and develop their professional potential in the public administration system.
The memorandum of cooperation with the YSU Faculty of Geography and Geology has also been renewed. It will serve as a new impetus for strengthening cooperation among education, science, and practice.
The memorandum will support new joint educational and research programs, promote the professional development of students and employees, and facilitate the introduction of modern knowledge and best practices in environmental protection and mining.
