Dr. Marco Fattori of Sapienza University of Rome (Italy), a specialist in Eastern Middle Iranian philology whose research and academic publications also cover Armenian-Iranian language contact, visited Armenia at the invitation of the Chair of Iranian Studies at the YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies.
During his visit, Dr. Fattori delivered two specialized lectures titled "Aspects of Language Contact Between Old Armenian and Middle Iranian: Selection of Case Studies" and "Khotanese Language and Manuscript Studies: Aims and Scope of the Italian KhoTxt Project."
The lectures were attended by faculty members, students and specialists interested in the field, who had the opportunity to discuss current issues related to Middle Iranian languages and Armenian-Iranian relations.
