Lecture at YSU Department of Iranian Studies: "Aspects of language contact between Old Armenian and Middle Iranian: a selection of case studies"

On October 12 at 1:00 PM, a lecture dedicated to Armenian-Iranian linguistic contacts will take place at the Department of Iranian Studies, YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies (Auditorium 321).

At the invitation of the Department of Iranian Studies, Dr. Marco Fattori from Sapienza University of Rome, a renowned specialist in Middle Eastern Iranian philology whose research and publications include Armenian-Iranian language contact, is currently visiting Armenia.

During his visit, Dr. Fattori will deliver a lecture on "Aspects of language contact between Old Armenian and Middle Iranian: a selection of case studies."

Faculty members, students, and researchers interested in the topic are cordially invited to attend.
