A workshop titled "Endangered Languages in Azerbaijan: The Beginning of a New Phase in State Language Policy (Since 2021)" will be held on June 20 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chair of Iranian Studies, Yerevan State University.
Admission is free.

The following presentations will be delivered:
- Vardan Voskanyan – "The Issue of the Talysh Language in Azerbaijan’s Socio-Political Discourse"
- Tereza Amryan – "School Textbooks in Kurdish in Azerbaijan: A Content Analysis"
- Artyom Tonoyan – "Shifts in Azerbaijan’s State Language Policy After the 2020–2023 War: The Case of Tat Language School Textbooks"
- Hakob Avchyan – "New School Textbooks in Talysh: A Content Analysis"
A Q&A session and open discussion will follow the presentations.
The workshop is organized within the framework of grant 24SSAH-6B028, provided by the Higher Education and Science Committee of the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports.
