The Chair of General Psychology at YSU Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology, in collaboration with PUA Professional NGO, organized a workshop titled "Current Trends and Transformations in HRM."
The event was opened by the workshop moderator, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Hrant Avanesyan, who emphasized the significance of the issues under discussion. He also extended his gratitude to Professor Cornelius König from Saarland University, Germany, who had been specially invited to participate in the event.
Held on June 12–13, 2025, the workshop included presentations by experienced HR professionals from well-known organizations, including Hasmik Vardanyan, Arpi Voskanyan, and Hasmik Kesoyan. The agenda addressed pressing contemporary topics such as "How Artificial Intelligence is Changing Personal Selection," "Transformative Role of an HR," and "From Resistance to Engagement: HR’s Role in Driving Modern Change."
Throughout the workshop, participants analyzed urgent issues related to recruitment practices, employee behavior, and motivation management tools within organizations.
The event was attended by students and graduates of the "Management Psychology" master’s program, as well as faculty members of YSU.
