From July 1 to 4, Sona Manusyan and Ani Poghosyan, members of the Scientific Group on Psychological Studies of Public Processes at YSU Laboratory of Personality and Social Environment, participated in the 19th European Congress of Psychology held in Paphos, Cyprus. The Congress was conducted under the theme "Transforming Psychological Science: The 2030 Agenda."
During the event, Manusyan and Poghosyan presented an oral report and a poster based on preliminary findings from their grant-funded project titled "Affiliation, Influence, and Civic (No) Action: The Understanding of Citizenship in Post-Revolutionary and (Post)War Armenia from a Socio-Psychological Point of View."
The researchers returned from the Congress with new ideas and collaborative opportunities, developed through the core thematic discussions and informal exchanges with international colleagues.
Their participation was supported by a travel grant from Yerevan State University, a scientific grant (code 23RL-5A044), funding from the Armenian Higher Education and Science Committee to cover travel expenses, and an individual grant from the Hovnanian Family Foundation.
