On August 25, a delegation of psychologists from the University of Trento (Italy), which has an international reputation in psychological science and education, visited the YSU Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology.
Highlighting the importance of cooperation, Hrant Avanesyan, Head of the Chair of General Psychology at the YSU Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology, Doctor of Psychological Sciences and Professor, noted that such meetings are important for establishing sustainable working relations between universities, exchanging experience and developing joint initiatives.
According to him, the continued expansion of international cooperation is one of the faculty's priorities, as it fosters an open and collaborative academic environment based on knowledge exchange.
As part of the bilateral cooperation, research is planned in the fields of cognitive and social neuropsychology, artificial intelligence, digital mental health and human mental well-being.
Professor Avanesyan invited his colleagues from the University of Trento to participate in the international conference titled "Current Issues in Theoretical and Applied Psychology", to be held in 2027.
During the visit, the guests also toured the YSU Psychology Research Center, which conducts multi-stage psychological studies using contemporary methods in the fields of mental health, psychological well-being and safety.
