On September 25, the YSU Faculty of Theology hosted a meeting with Nune Shamakhyan, author of the book "Musical Instruments of the Armenian Highlands."
The book explores the history and development of Armenian musical instruments, as well as their role and significance in Armenian culture. The author presents unique facts, medieval miniatures and manuscripts, along with rare photographs, giving readers a comprehensive view of the musical, ritual and spiritual heritage of the Armenian Highlands.
During the meeting, Shamakhyan also spoke about her creative journey, shared interesting stories behind the creation of the book and answered numerous questions from the audience.
