Tigran Yepremyan, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations at Yerevan State University, PhD, Associate Professor, held a meeting in Beijing, China, with Ma Xinyu, Vice Rector for International Cooperation at the University of International Relations of China, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the People’s Republic of China.

The meeting was also attended by Chair Head Zhak Manukyan, Armenian Consul Misak Balayan, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Office from the Chinese side Wang Yumeng, and Director of the Institute of International Relations Wang Sidan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed directions for establishing academic and scientific cooperation between YSU Faculty of International Relations and the University of International Relations of China. The Chinese side expressed strong interest and willingness to collaborate with the Faculty of International Relations. In turn, Dean Tigran Yepremyan presented the role of YSU within the educational system of the Republic of Armenia and highlighted the faculty’s potential, recent reforms, updated academic programs, and ongoing research projects.
The parties outlined opportunities for organizing student and professor exchange programs, joint research activities, and collaborative scientific events.
Dean Tigran Yepremyan invited the University of International Relations partners to participate in the annual international conference organized by the Faculty of International Relations.
Following the proposal from the Chinese side, it is planned to sign a memorandum of cooperation between YSU Faculty of International Relations and the University of International Relations of China.
