A roundtable discussion was held in YSU Balian Hall, attended by Mehdi Sobhani, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia; Dr. Mohammad Asadi Movahed, Director of the Iranian Cultural Center; Tigran Yepremyan, Dean of YSU Faculty of International Relations, PhD, Associate Professor; as well as faculty members.
Tigran Yepremyan welcomed the attendees and emphasized the great importance of organizing discussions in such a format.
Ambassador Mehdi Sobhani stressed that similar visits will continue with the aim of strengthening Armenian-Iranian partnership relations. In his speech, the ambassador addressed Iran’s foreign policy stance and recent geopolitical developments.
Faculty members contributed to the discussion by presenting issues related to regional developments.
During the event, the ambassador underscored the importance of ensuring peace and stability in the South Caucasus and the Middle East.
