YSU Faculty of International Relations hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Armenia, Nilakshi Saha Sinha.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Indian Embassy in Armenia, the faculty's academic staff members, and students.
The purpose of the visit was to enrich the faculty's academic resources with a collection of valuable books on Indian political thought, diplomacy, culture, and history.
Ambassador Nilakshi Saha Sinha emphasized that India highly values its friendly relations with Armenia and is committed to further strengthening and deepening bilateral cooperation.
The meeting concluded with a Q&A session between the ambassador and students. In response to a question from Nasrah Khan, a student of the Faculty of International Relations, regarding the future of Armenia-India relations over the next decade, the ambassador noted:
"India and Armenia already enjoy a very good relationship. I believe that in the next 5 to 10 years, our diplomatic ties will deepen, strengthen, and expand even further."
This marked the Indian ambassador’s second visit to YSU Faculty of International Relations.
