At the YSU Faculty of International Relations, the annual reporting session of the chair heads took place, during which the main outcomes of the previous year's activities and the objectives for the upcoming period were summarily presented.
The session was opened by the Faculty Dean, PhD in History, Associate Professor Tigran Yepremyan. He highly appreciated and commended the contribution of each chair to enhancing the quality of the educational process.
The primary purpose of the reports was to evaluate the chairs' work across educational, scientific, methodological, and organizational areas. The chair heads provided a detailed overview of their activities, including improvements in academic programs, professional development of lecturers, students' engagement in research, and international cooperation.
During the reporting session, a number of achievements were highlighted: professional seminars and scientific conferences were organized; educational programs were updated to meet contemporary standards; chair representatives participated in various research grant programs; and collaborations were established with local and international universities to exchange experience and strengthen scientific connections.
A significant increase was recorded in the number of articles published in international scientific journals, indicating the faculty's growing scientific activity and the effectiveness of its research work. The Chair of International Relations and Diplomacy was particularly prominent in this regard.
The reports of the chair heads reflect the continuous progress of the faculty. The work carried out during the past year lays the foundation for future reforms and the improvement of the educational process, aimed at training highly qualified specialists and strengthening scientific potential.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the dean emphasized the necessity of continuously improving educational programs to ensure alignment with scientific advancements and contemporary demands. He also encouraged the continuation of active work, multiplying responsibility and enthusiasm, and achieving new results in the coming year for the development of the faculty and the enhancement of educational quality.
In this context, the dean also underscored the importance of student participation in international scientific events, particularly acknowledging the volunteers involved in the organizational work of the recently held two-day international conference. He expressed gratitude to these students, highlighting that they represent the university's most capable force and that their initiatives and scientific engagement significantly contribute to enhancing the institution's reputation.
