In keeping with a long-standing tradition at the YSU Faculty of International Relations, an educational tour was organized for master's students following the successful completion of the academic examination period.
This year's itinerary included four major sites of particular significance to Armenia's spiritual and architectural history: Sevanavank, Haghartsin Monastery, Matosavank, and Jukhtak Monastery.
The tour began on the Sevan Peninsula, where students got familiarized with the historical legacy of Sevanavank, the architectural features of its centuries-old monuments, and the strategic role the monastic complex played during different historical periods.
The second, more active segment of the cultural journey took place in Dilijan National Park, where students visited the historic monument complexes of Matosavank and Jukhtak Monastery. Nestled in harmony with the natural landscape, these modest yet enduring sanctuaries, with their distinctive khachkars and tombstones, provided students with an opportunity to engage more deeply with Armenia's rich cultural heritage.
The Faculty of International Relations attaches great importance to the regular organization of such initiatives, noting that they make a significant contribution to students' holistic development.
