An official graduation ceremony was held at the YSU Faculty of International Relations for around 379 bachelor's and master's degree graduates of the 2025-2026 academic year.
Faculty Dean Tigran Yepremyan, PhD in History and Associate Professor, welcomed and congratulated those attending and personally presented diplomas to graduates who had completed their studies with honours.
"I extend my deepest respect and warmest congratulations to you on this significant occasion. You are graduating in fields that are of crucial importance in the 21st century: international relations, political science and public administration. This means that you bear not only professional but also social responsibility. Tomorrow, you will be making political decisions, representing the state on international platforms and managing public resources for the benefit of the Republic of Armenia," the dean said.
Emphasising the particularly important role of young professionals in a rapidly changing world, Yepremyan said: "Changes in the world order, the technological revolution, the development of artificial intelligence, geopolitical competition, climate change and today's security challenges require new thinking and new leaders. I am convinced that you are ready to assume this responsibility."
As part of the ceremony's cultural program, master's graduate Shushan Daveyan gave a musical performance featuring several works by world-renowned singer-songwriter Charles Aznavour.
The graduates, in turn, expressed their gratitude to their alma mater and lecturers for standing by them over the years, sharing invaluable knowledge and shaping them as citizens and professionals.
The ceremony was attended by members of the YSU academic staff, guests, students and their relatives.
