Admission Requirements
Applicants must hold a complete secondary education qualification awarded under the three-level general education system of the Republic of Armenia or an equivalent qualification.
Admission is conducted in accordance with the Regulations on Admission to State and Non-State Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Armenia (Bachelor's Programmes), approved by Resolution No. 597-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia of 26 April 2012. In accordance with Government Resolution No. 1521-N of 30 November 2017, applicants are required to sit the following unified entrance examinations:
Mathematics (written)
Armenian Language and Literature (written) or a Foreign Language (written)
Admission to the Bachelor's Programme (Full-Time Study)

First and Second Admission Rounds
For the first admission round, applicants must submit their online application for the entrance examinations and programme preferences via the National Center for Educational Technologies website (www.dimord.am) between 15 April and 10 May, inclusive (until 18:00 on 10 May).
The second admission round is conducted between 26 June and 1 July, inclusive (until 17:00 on 1 July).
Additional Admission Round (Vacant Places)
The results of the main admission competition will be announced on 18 July.
Applicants who have achieved a passing score in the entrance examinations but were not admitted during the main competition may participate in the additional competition for vacant places, subject to availability.
To participate, applicants must submit a new online application via www.dimord.am, indicating up to six programme choices across one or more higher education institutions. Applications are accepted from 20 July to 26 July, inclusive (until 18:00 on 26 July).
Applicants admitted during the main admission round are not eligible to participate in the additional competition.
The results of the additional admission round will be announced on 30 July.
Important Information
The results of the main admission round for full-time Bachelor's programmes at Yerevan State University will be published on 18 July. The results of the additional admission round will be published on 30 July in the Bachelor's – Full-Time Study subsection of the Admissions section of the official YSU website.
Applicants admitted to full-time study are required to submit the original copies of all admission documents, including the examination certificate issued by the National Center for Educational Technologies, to the relevant academic unit within one week of the start of the academic year, in accordance with the applicable admission regulations.
The academic year for full-time Bachelor's programmes begins on 1 September.
Applicants admitted to full-time study who are subsequently conscripted into the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia must submit the required supporting documentation, including proof of military conscription, to the relevant academic unit between 1 and 10 September in order to arrange the applicable deferment. Failure to submit the required documentation within the prescribed period will result in the withdrawal of the admission offer.
Required Documents
The following documents are required as part of the application:
Secondary school certificate or diploma, accompanied by the original academic transcript (supplement);
One recent passport-size photograph (3 × 4 cm);
Passport or national identity card (original and one copy);
Examination certificate issued by the National Center for Educational Technologies;
Military service record book, where applicable;
Supporting documentation for applicants eligible for admission benefits.
2026-2027 Admission Committee working days and hours
YSU Admissions Committee works from April 15 to May 10 (including) from 10:00 to 17:00, on April 15 from 10:00 to 16:00, and on May 10 from 1030 to 18:00.
Weekends: April 19, 24, 25, 26, May 1, 2, 3, 4, 9
From June 26 to July 1 (including), the Commission works from 10:00 to 17:00.
Weekends: June 27, 28
From July 20 to July 26 (including) Committee works from 10:00 to 17:00
on July 26 from 10:00 to 18:00
Day off: July 25
Break: 13:00–14:00
