Admission Requirements
Admission is conducted in accordance with the "Regulations on Admission to State and Non-State Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Armenia (Bachelor's Degree Programmes)," approved by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

Programme Objective
The Bachelor's Programme in Finance aims to prepare highly qualified specialists for the banking sector, non-bank financial institutions, organizations operating in various sectors of the economy, and different levels of public administration. Graduates of the programme will be equipped to analyze and evaluate processes and developments in financial markets and to propose effective solutions to financial and economic challenges.
Advantages
Upon successful completion of the Finance programme, graduates will be able to:
explain contemporary approaches and methods of financial management;
describe the methods of compiling and recording statistical data;
present the fundamental principles of banking operations;
explain the nature of financial accounting and the preparation and auditing of financial statements; interpret the specific characteristics of the non-bank financial sector;
present the fundamental principles of customs operations and administration;
explain the approaches used in analyzing and managing various economic issues and phenomena;
interpret the key concepts of microeconomics and macroeconomics, as well as the challenges of global and local markets.
Upon completion of the programme, graduates will possess practical professional competencies enabling them to:
classify risks and make financial decisions;
prepare analytical materials required for decision-making;
evaluate the effectiveness of financial management within organizations;
apply methods for managing and evaluating the financial sector of the economy;
assess selected economic policies;
develop and implement lending and other asset management operations in the banking sector;
perform technical and economic calculations required for business activities;
prepare and present a variety of financial and analytical reports.
Career Opportunities
The Finance programme provides a strong academic foundation for students intending to pursue careers in business, the banking sector, financial management within organizations, and public administration.
Graduates of the programme may pursue careers in organizations across various sectors of the economy, including commercial banks, consulting firms, public administration bodies, and local self-government institutions. Career opportunities include positions as financial consultants, economists, accountants, finance specialists, loan officers, risk management specialists, and asset and liability management specialists. Graduates may also serve as members of economic policy development teams or as specialists responsible for the development, evaluation, and implementation of economic projects.
Potential employers include the ministries of the Republic of Armenia, the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia, higher education institutions, commercial banks, insurance companies, and private sector organizations.
