An interactive training session on "Personal Data Protection" was held on September 17 for students enrolled in master's programs at the YSU Faculty of Law, with the aim of providing future lawyers with professional knowledge in the field.
The lecture was delivered by Mihran Bulghadaryan, Acting Head of the Personal Data Protection Agency, and Gevorg Hayrapetyan, a personal data protection expert, as part of the EU-funded "Support to Data Protection in Armenia" program of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.
The session covered key concepts and principles related to the right to personal data protection, the history of the personal data protection authority in Armenia and upcoming reforms. The speakers also answered students' questions.
Similar educational initiatives will continue to be organized in the future.
