On April 13, at the initiative of the Student Council of the YSU Faculty of Law, around 90 high school students from Yerevan, as well as the Kotayk and Ararat provinces, visited the faculty. The visit provided students with an opportunity to become acquainted with the faculty's educational programs, academic opportunities, and to receive guidance on professional orientation.
Dean of the Faculty, Harutyun Khachikyan, welcomed the students and emphasized the importance of such visits in shaping young people's educational and professional interests, as well as in supporting informed career choices. He underlined the key significance of the legal profession, highlighting the important role of lawyers in upholding justice and contributing to state-building.
Within the framework of the visit, the students were introduced to the structure and activities of the faculty, educational programs, admission procedures and requirements, the specific features of the legal profession, and employment opportunities in the labour market.
Chair of the Student Council, Ani Chilingaryan, noted that the event took place in an interactive atmosphere, during which students had the opportunity to ask university representatives questions of interest and receive comprehensive answers. She also added that, at the initiative of the Student Council, such large-scale meetings will continue on a regular basis.
