The Fifth International Scientific Legal Forum titled "Criminalistic and Expert Strategies for State Protection" was held at the Saratov State Academy of Law.
Within the framework of cooperation between Yerevan State University and Saratov State Law Academy, members of the YSU Chair of Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics participated in the international conference remotely. Head of the Chair, Doctor of Law, Professor Samvel Dilbandyan, delivered a presentation on "Issues of Applying Special Knowledge in the Criminal Procedure of the Republic of Armenia."
The conference delved into strategies for applying criminalistic and expert knowledge in ensuring state security. Discussions focused on the use of digital technologies in combating crime, the detection and fixation of digital traces, as well as the appointment of forensic examinations in this field.
The international forum brought together procedural law specialists, criminalists, and practitioners from several countries, including Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan.
The discussions during the conference were constructive, and agreements were reached on organizing future joint conferences and strengthening cooperation in academic curriculum development and faculty exchange programs.
