On April 13, the Faculty of Armenian Philology at Yerevan State University hosted Rebeca Ciorniavei, a staff member of the International Relations Office at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, for an official working visit.
Rebeca Ciorniavei was provided with an overview of the faculty's organizational structure, its chair, and the specific administrative frameworks governing its academic processes.
During a meeting with students of the faculty, a range of issues related to the educational programs of the two universities was discussed. Ciorniavei presented the structure of the University of São Paulo, its academic programs, and the distinctive features of its educational process.
Students were given the opportunity to ask questions of interest to them.
During a meeting with the faculty's academic staff, avenues for bilateral cooperation were discussed. The necessity of organizing joint workshops and conferences on professional topics was emphasized. The possibility of distance learning of the Armenian language was also discussed, which would significantly contribute to the dissemination and study of Armenian worldwide.
The meeting was held in a working and constructive atmosphere.
