A formal diploma presentation ceremony for bachelor's graduates of the full-time and part-time programs of the YSU Faculty of Armenian Philology was held on July 20.
The event was attended by members of the faculty's academic staff, the graduates' parents and relatives, and numerous guests.
Arshaluys Galstyan, Dean of the YSU Faculty of Armenian Philology, welcomed those present and congratulated the graduates on successfully completing their studies. He emphasized that a diploma is not merely a document certifying higher education, but the culmination of years of consistent work, a love of knowledge, sleepless nights, determination and perseverance.
The dean expressed confidence that the graduates would use the knowledge and skills they had acquired to preserve and advance the Armenian language, literature and culture, while representing Yerevan State University and their faculty with distinction.
During the ceremony, the graduates received their bachelor's diplomas, marking the completion of one of the most important stages of student life and the beginning of professional growth, new opportunities and responsible decision-making.
Members of the Faculty of Armenian Philology's academic staff also delivered congratulatory remarks, wishing the graduates professional achievements, productive creative work, continued success and lifelong self-improvement. They stressed that a sense of love and responsibility for the Armenian language, literature and national values should guide the graduates throughout every stage of their future careers.
The graduates, in turn, thanked their lecturers and the entire faculty staff for the wealth of knowledge they had received, their professional training, constant support and considerate attitude. They noted that their years at YSU had played a pivotal role in both their professional and personal development.
The YSU Faculty of Armenian Philology continues to pursue its mission of preparing highly qualified specialists who, through their knowledge, abilities and dedication, will make a valuable contribution to the development of the Armenian language and literature, as well as education, science, culture and various areas of public life.
