A group of students from the YSU Faculty of Chemistry visited the Catalysis Laboratory. The visit provided an opportunity to learn about the laboratory's operations, its main areas of research and modern research practices.
During the visit, students toured the laboratory and gained firsthand insight into how research activities are organized. They were introduced to the laboratory's main research areas, the methods used, and the modern equipment and technical facilities available for conducting research.
An important part of the visit was the opportunity for students to interact directly with laboratory specialists. They asked researchers questions, discussed various aspects of scientific work and gained a better understanding of how the theoretical knowledge acquired at university is applied in a research environment.
Such visits play an important role in helping students make informed career choices and fostering their interest in science. Firsthand exposure to a laboratory environment allows young people to gain a clearer understanding of what research involves, current developments in chemistry, and opportunities for future professional and academic careers.
The Catalysis Laboratory values cooperation with young professionals and is committed to continuing to provide students with opportunities to engage directly with the scientific community.
The visit by YSU Faculty of Chemistry students offered another opportunity to bring together academic knowledge, practical experience and scientific curiosity.
