About the program
Admission requirements
To apply for the "Biology" program the applicant should hold a certificate of secondary, primary vocational, or secondary vocational education. The admission is carried out according to the "Regulation of admission to RA state and non-state higher educational institutions (Bachelor's educational program)" approved by the RA Government (April 26, 2012 N 597-N).
The aim of the program
The aim of the “Biology” bachelor’s program is to provide students with knowledge about the different levels of formation of biological organisms, biological systems, about their biological, evolution processes, environmental, biological and biomedical technologies.
The program aims:
- To develop student’s abilities in biodiversity conservation, economical and scientific medical areas.
- To develop student’s skills to be able to conduct fundamental and applied biological researches in laboratory and field conditions and to implement the results into production.
Career opportunities
Graduates of the ‘Biology” program get the opportunity to work in companies related to medical, laboratory and clinical trials, food and drug production and education fields.
