Targeting drug resistance with phytochemicals and drug combinations using advanced in vitro and in vivo models

This 3-month fellowship at UKR focuses on acquiring advanced in vitro and in vivo skills to evaluate plant-derived compounds against drug-resistant bacteria. Central to the training is the use of Galleria mellonella and murine models to study anti-biofilm effects and the role of microbiota in cancer therapy resistance. The training will contribute not only to the advancement and qualitative improvement of my current research topic but also to the enhancement of laboratory capacities at Yerevan State University through the implementation of new animal models.
