General information
In modern times, high technologies and various branches of industry are developing rapidly. In parallel with this, the requirements for controlling the processes taking place here are becoming stricter every day. Such means can include various types of sensor systems that can monitor the quality of the ambient air, detect low concentrations of toxic or explosive gases present here, and generate alarm signals. Strain (pressure) sensors also play an important role in these control systems, which are able to record minor fluctuations of a flexible surface, as a prototype of an electronic skin. Our scientific group has already prepared sensor systems that are at the TRL 4 level (for gas and strain sensors). Within the fram work of the project, it is planned to improve the characteristics of sensor systems at this level and demonstrate them in an operational environment (TRL 7). The sensor systems are prepared on the basis of metal oxide and carbonbased nanostructures, the parameters of which will be enhanced by improving the technological modes and the materials of their production. Signal processing systems will be designed and manufactured for the improved sensor ensembles, and packaging will be carried out, resulting in complete detectors.
