YSU Faculty of History hosted a discussion, organized through the joint initiative of the Laboratory of Ethnographic and Anthropological Research and Culture for Sustainable Development NGO.

The discussion was dedicated to the implementation of ethnographic research within development programs and the specific ways in which the results of such research can be applied. During the event, Husik Sargsyan, Head of EU-LEAD4Shirak program, along with ethnographers Ruzanna Tsaturyan and Mkhitar Gabrielyan, shared their experiences and elaborated on the nuances of their work, placing particular emphasis on the genuine role and significance of ethnographers in similar initiatives.
One of the key objectives of the discussion was to demonstrate the practical applicability of the discipline beyond academic settings.
