IT Educational and Research Center Executive Director Artur Avagyan awarded YSU Gold Medal

YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan awarded the YSU Gold Medal to Artur Avagyan, Executive Director of the YSU Information Technologies Educational and Research Center and Candidate of Technical Sciences, on the occasion of his 55th birthday.

Hovhannes Hovhannisyan highlighted the work of the entire staff of the Information Technologies Educational and Research (ITER) Center. The rector noted that the electronic systems developed at the center to manage YSU's educational processes continue to be effectively used and improved. According to him, this work is made possible by a team distinguished by high professional skills, knowledge and experience.

Artur Avagyan, Executive Director of the ITER Center, has made a significant contribution to organizing the center's work and ensuring its efficiency and quality. Hovhannes Hovhannisyan noted that Avagyan's birthday was a fitting occasion to recognize his dedicated work.

YSU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Elina Asriyan praised Artur Avagyan's strong personal and professional qualities, including his professionalism, readiness to assist, ability to respond and resolve issues within tight deadlines, and capacity for effective work.

In 2021, Artur Avagyan was awarded the YSU Silver Medal for his many years of dedicated and exemplary service at YSU, as well as his significant contribution to organizing the university's online educational process.
