Elected academic staff representatives to YSU Board of Trustees announced following extraordinary Academic Council meeting

The Academic Council of Yerevan State University held an extraordinary meeting during the 2026-2027 academic year to elect members of the Board of Trustees from candidates nominated by the university's structural units.

At the first extraordinary meeting of the 2026-2027 academic year, YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan presented the agenda item concerning the election of Board of Trustees members nominated by the university's structural units.

Following approval of the agenda, Hovhannisyan introduced the candidates nominated by the academic councils of the university's structural units:

In accordance with the requirements of the YSU Charter and procedural regulations, a vote-counting committee was formed, comprising Armen Tadevosyan, Zhak Manukyan and Hayk Mnatsakanyan.

The Academic Council then held a secret ballot in a closed session. Based on the results, the five candidates who received the highest number of votes in favor were elected to the Board of Trustees as representatives of the university's academic staff:
