New partnership between YSU and Inecobank boosts opportunities for students
Yerevan State University and Inecobank CJSCh have signed a memorandum of cooperation as part of the "Inecobank - By Your Side" educational program, aiming to strengthen bilateral partnership.

The memorandum outlines the terms and objectives of the program, as well as the specific activities that both parties have agreed to implement jointly. This partnership brings together the efforts of the higher education and financial sectors to promote professional development among young people, enhance their skills, and ensure high-quality education.
For the third consecutive year, YSU is participating in the educational support program, implemented as part of the "Inecobank - By Your Side: A Future Full of Opportunities" initiative. Since the launch of the initiative in 2023, hundreds of YSU students have applied to participate. Many of them have been selected as winners and received financial assistance to support their studies.
Between 2023 and 2024, over a thousand students took part in competitive selection processes organized by Inecobank. As a result, 19 students were selected as winners, 13 received funding for their education, while 6 participated in short-term international programs in France, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands. Additionally, 12 students have since joined Inecobank as employees.
In 2025, the program has expanded significantly. Under the new "Ineco Campus: A Future Through Education and Knowledge" initiative, selected students from various Armenian universities will receive financial support based on a competitive selection. The support includes:
Scholarships for 150 students, each receiving 300.000 AMD
Tuition reimbursement for 15 students for one academic year, up to 1.500.000 AMD each
Participation in short-term international programs for 20 students, each receiving up to 2.000.000 AMD
Funding for master’s degree studies for 30 specialists
This year, the total budget of the program exceeds 1 billion AMD.
The memorandum of cooperation between YSU and Inecobank reinforces the bridge between the labor market and higher education. It offers young people greater opportunities to pursue their goals, ensuring high-quality education and practical support. Both parties expressed confidence that this cooperation will foster a new generation of well-versed professionals and serve as a foundation for future joint initiatives.

Mikayel Hovhannisyan, Vice-Rector for Development and Innovation at YSU, speaking at the official launch of the "Ineco Campus" program, highlighted the importance of the university’s role in such initiatives. He emphasized that the program acts primarily as a platform for promoting professional growth among young people and opening new avenues for cooperation.
Karine Nazaryan, Deputy Director of YSU Alumni and Career Center, noted in the interview that the program has expanded significantly this year, including students from 14 universities. In previous years, fewer universities were involved, limiting student participation.

"Last year, out of 337 applications from YSU students, only three were selected as winners," Karine Nazaryan said. "At the program’s launch event, we met the three YSU winners. Interestingly, despite not having a background in finance or banking, two of them are now employed at Inecobank." She added that the initiative provides young people with valuable opportunities to grow professionally and chart new paths for their future.
For the third consecutive year, Inecobank CJSC has been implementing the "Inecobank - By Your Side " initiative to support students from various universities across Armenia, promoting professional development and creating new career opportunities.
