'I aim to become a competent professional—for my family and my country': YSU student Yeva Dallakyan wins IT award
"Such awards open up new opportunities for professional growth and development," says Yeva Dallakyan, a student at Yerevan State University. This is Yeva’s first award in her professional field, and, as she notes, it brings both great excitement and a sense of responsibility. The secret to her success lies not only in hard work but also in her self-critical approach. She believes that without internal discipline and a constant drive for self-improvement, achieving success in one’s profession is impossible.

According to the results of this year’s annual educational awards in the field of Information Technology (IT), Yeva received a second-class award in the "Best Bachelor's Student" category. She shares that she is deeply inspired by her success in the competition.
"State support and recognition are essential for advancing and developing in one’s professional field. Competitions like this not only motivate but also open new doors for greater achievements and goals," she emphasizes.

Yeva attributes her success to her diligence, determination, strength of will, and a constant desire to grow and expand her knowledge.
A first-year master’s student in the "Design of Very Large-Scale Integrated Circuits (VLSI)" program at YSU Institute of Physics, Yeva has been fascinated by physics and mathematics since her school years. Over time, this interest naturally evolved into her choice of profession.
She highlights the crucial role of YSU Institute of Physics in shaping her professional path, expressing confidence that she made the right decision by choosing the alma mater.
"The institute provides the knowledge and skills I need to establish myself as a professional. I greatly value the support of the lecturers, as well as the student-oriented approach demonstrated by the entire institute staff," she notes.
Discussing her interests in the IT field, Yeva explains that she is drawn not only to its modernity and dynamic development but also to the creative and analytical freedom it offers.
"All of this is combined with artificial intelligence and modern software tools, making the field especially interesting and promising," she emphasizes.

Yeva hopes that, alongside academic education, there could be more practical courses that would allow students to apply theoretical knowledge and facilitate work on real projects. She already has practical experience: since 2024, she has been working at Synopsis Armenia in the fast-transceiver communication systems design department. According to her, this role allows her to apply her academic knowledge in practice and continue developing professionally.
Yeva has many goals; she aspires to become a leading specialist in her field. She is determined to do her utmost to expand her professional knowledge and contribute to the advancement of the sector.
