Presenting certificate of appreciation as a token of gratitude
The YSU Institute of Pharmacy hosted a ceremonial event to honor the long-standing academic and educational contributions of Samvel Vardapetyan, PhD in Chemistry, Associate Professor at the Chair of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy.
The event was attended by YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Academic Secretary Meri Hovhannisyan, the academic staff members of the Institute of Pharmacy, colleagues, students, and other guests.
During the ceremony, Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan presented a certificate of appreciation to Associate Professor Samvel Vardapetyan, highlighting his many years of scholarly and pedagogical contributions to higher education and science. The rector emphasized Samvel Vardapetyan's exceptional ability to integrate educational and scientific components within the teaching process.
Chair Head Hayarpi Simonyan congratulated the scholar, highlighting his fruitful contributions to pedagogy, scientific research, and organizational work.
Colleagues also delivered congratulatory speeches during the event held in honor of the distinguished scholar's 70th birthday, underscoring his significant contributions both to the field of pharmacy and to the education and mentoring of generations of students.
Meri Ghazaryan, President of the Student Council of the Institute of Pharmacy, conveyed the students' words of gratitude and respect to Samvel Vardapetyan, wishing him continued fruitful work and robust health.
In 2015, Associate Professor Samvel Vardapetyan was awarded the YSU Gold Medal for his significant contributions to analytical research in drug quality, modern methods for obtaining sorbents, as well as his extensive pedagogical activities at the university, training of young specialists, and efforts to enhance the quality of education.
