Chinese scholar Sun Zhuangzhi leads delegation to Yerevan State University

During the visit, Sun Zhuangzhi met with YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan. The two sides discussed prospects for Armenian–Chinese academic cooperation, opportunities to expand research programs, and the exchange of experience in higher education.

Following the meeting, Professor Sun met with members of the academic staff of the YSU Faculty of International Relations, where a range of disciplinary issues were discussed. The discussions focused on global transformations, changes in the international relations system, new geopolitical realities, and global and regional challenges, as well as the role of Central Asia, the South Caucasus, and China in emerging international processes.

Participants exchanged views on international security, economic cooperation, the formation of a multipolar world order, and new formats of interstate cooperation.

Serving as an important platform for academic and expert dialogue, the meeting enabled Armenian and Chinese specialists to exchange perspectives and assessments of international developments.
