YSU students participate in international investment arbitration moot court competition in Rome and Frankfurt
The YSU Faculty of Law team participated in prestigious international investment arbitration moot court competitions in Rome and Frankfurt.
The competition journey began with the DLA Piper Investment Arbitration Pre-Moot held in Rome, where YSU was represented by Faculty of Law students Ani Chilingaryan and Siranush Poghosyan. The participants competed against teams from different countries, demonstrating a high level of oral advocacy and arbitration skills, while also improving their professional skills ahead of the main competition.
The team then participated in the international investment arbitration moot court competition held in Frankfurt, where the YSU students competed against teams from many leading universities, including the University of Chicago, the University of Zurich and Université Paris Cité.
This international experience allowed the team members to deepen their knowledge of investment arbitration, develop their legal analysis and oral advocacy skills, and become familiar with leading international practice in the field.
