YSU Legal Clinic presents its experience at European conference
Knarik Vardanyan, Director of the YSU Legal Clinic, participated in the 12th conference of the European Network for Clinical Legal Education (ENCLE), held at the University of Edinburgh School of Law in Edinburgh, Scotland. The conference is one of the leading international professional platforms in the field. During the conference, she presented the YSU Legal Clinic's main areas of activity, its model for students' practical training, and the work being carried out to develop clinical legal education in Armenia.
Organized in cooperation with the International Journal of Clinical Legal Education (IJCLE), the conference brought together clinical legal education specialists from different countries to exchange experience and develop cooperation.
The conference agenda included trends in the development of clinical legal education, effective approaches to developing students' practical skills, and ways to improve the work of legal clinics.
The academic event was held in an interactive format, combining plenary sessions, thematic discussions and short presentations, which encouraged active professional discussions and the exchange of experience.
The participation of the YSU Legal Clinic was supported by the Armenia office of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI). The bilateral cooperation contributes to the development of clinical legal education in Armenia and the presentation of Armenian experience on international platforms.
Participation in the conference enabled the YSU Legal Clinic to expand the scope of its international cooperation, establish new professional contacts and present Armenia's experience to the European professional community.
