New academic and cultural partnership formed between YSU, Armenia Wine Company, and Wine History Museum of Armenia Yerevan State University, Armenia Wine Company, and the Wine History Museum of Armenia have signed a memorandum of cooperation to jointly promote the implementation of educational programs and raise awareness of Armenia's tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
Nikos Kazantzakis’ literary legacy and strengthening of Armenian-Greek academic ties: YSU as a platform for intercultural communication The Research Center-Library of Greek Studies at Yerevan State University brought together university scholars and guests, including admirers of the writer’s works and Greek culture in general, to focus on the literary legacy of the world-renowned Greek author Nikos Kazantzakis and the key ideas in his philosophy. The event, titled "Nikos Kazantzakis: The Soul Traveler," also served as a unique platform to discuss the activities of the center, outline future plans, and explore new ideas with the center's partners. The event was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece to Armenia, Christos Sofianopoulos, and other officials from Greece.
In the Middle Ages, Armenian sculptor masters actively participated in the construction of Seljuk Anatolian structures - Zaruhi Hakobyan Zaruhi Hakobyan, Associate Professor in the Chair of History and Theory of Armenian Art at Yerevan State University, along with her research team, is studying the symbolism and style of Armenian medieval sculptures, as well as their interactions with neighboring cultures. Her scientific project titled "Armenian Medieval Sculpture in the 12th-14th Centuries: Development Patterns, Symbolism, and Style" has received funding through the "Scientific Effectiveness Promotion Grant Program-2025" competition, announced by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports.

Democracy, human rights, security: DeHuRiS project launched at YSU The "Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence in European Studies: Democracy, Human Rights and Security- DeHuRiS" project has been officially launched at Yerevan State University. It will be implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet program. The aim of the program is to place special emphasis on European integration, the protection of democracy and human rights, and security issues.
New opportunities for advancing continuing education at YSU Yerevan State University and the Armenian office of DVV International, the Institute for International Cooperation of the German Adult Education Association, have signed a memorandum of understanding with the view to promoting the development of the adult education and continuing education system through collaborative programs.

YSU student shares Armenian traditions while gaining knowledge and making new friends at Dunarea de Jos University YSU student Liana Aleksanyan returned to Armenia impressed after spending one semester studying at Dunărea de Jos University in Galați, Romania, through the Erasmus+ program. Armenian folk wisdom shared with the world through Dora Sakayan’s trilingual collections of proverbs A presentation of the three bilingual proverb collections by the renowned linguist, Armenian studies scholar, translator, and Professor at McGill University, Dora Sakayan, took place at Yerevan State University. Her books, Armenian Proverbs in English Translation, 2500 Armenische Sprichwörter in deutscher Übersetzung, and 2500 Proverbes Arméniens traduits en français (in Armenian-English, Armenian-German, and Armenian-French), offer readers an opportunity to explore the depth, diversity, and linguistic features of Armenian proverbs.
