A NEW MOTIVE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SPACE PHOTOGRAPHY FIELD: A MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION WAS SIGNED
YSU rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan and director of "Geokosmos" company Gevorg Manukyan signed a memorandum of cooperation between the two institutions to develop and expand the existing cooperation between the sides.
As a result of long discussions and meetings between the YSU Alumni and Career Center and "Geocosmos" company, an agreement on continuous cooperation was reached, which was followed by the signing of a memorandum. According to the signed memorandum, scientific discussions, courses, practical trainings, research, etc. will take place regularly on topics of bilateral interest.
According to the memorandum, YSU will provide advice to the company's employees on effective scientific research and professional activities, will organize training courses for them, etc.
In addition, the "Geocosmos" company will offer YSU field topics for graduation works, providing materials and literature necessary for their study, and will organize students' internships in the company as well.
According to the assurance of the leaders of the two institutions, the cooperation will certainly contribute to the development of the field of remote sensing of the Earth and space photography, providing many opportunities and prospects for new successes in this direction.
